LITTLE QR FIELD GUIDE

Make a wedding photo QR code sign with your own album link

By ON Lab · November 6, 2026 · Practical setup guide

Already have a place for guests to upload their photos? Turn its guest link into a printable sign. Try the free sample first; an offline design tool is optional.

No album yet? Choose and test an upload service before printing. Little QR makes the sign; it does not collect or store photos.

1. Check the guest link, not your admin link

Open the link in a private browser window on a phone. Upload a test photo as a guest and confirm it arrives in the correct album. Check whether a guest needs an account, who can view other guests’ photos, and how long uploads and downloads remain available.

For example, JoinAlbum describes a guest upload workflow. It is a separate service with its own limits and prices. We have no affiliation. Your chosen provider may already include printable signs, so check before buying another tool.

2. Give the sign a clear instruction

In our editor choose “Couples & wedding planners,” paste the guest upload link and edit the heading and instruction. A short heading such as “OUR DAY” and “Scan to share your photos” explains the next step. Download the SVG sample without paying.

The free editor offers an A5 sign (148 × 210 mm), a square sign (180 × 180 mm), and a small insert (90 × 120 mm). These are the available sizes; a photograph of a frame is not a promise that the file fits every frame.

3. Print one proof before the wedding

  1. Print the SVG at actual size. If your print shop requires PDF, ask which format it accepts before ordering.
  2. Scan the printed proof from the distance a guest will stand, under similar lighting. Leave the code’s light border clear.
  3. Complete a test upload from that scan. Reaching an album is not enough if upload permission is missing.
  4. Place the printed sign where guests have time to use it. Keep the direct link available in your wedding information for guests who cannot scan.

What happens if the album link changes?

This is a static QR code. It keeps pointing to the original address. If you switch to a new address, regenerate and reprint the sign. Keeping the original upload address working avoids that reprint; Little QR does not redirect old codes.

What is free, and what costs $3?

The online editor and SVG sample are free. The optional $3 USD Print Pack, tax included, is a ZIP containing an offline HTML tool, three base layouts and printing instructions. It does not include an album subscription, guest uploads, a physical sign, a frame or custom design work. The AI photographs are styling illustrations; inspect the editor’s actual output before buying.
