QR content stays on your device

The free generator and downloadable offline tool process your destination URL, title and subtitle in your browser. We do not send those inputs to an AI model or our application server. The websites reached by scanning your QR have their own privacy practices.

Website delivery

Cloudflare delivers the public site and may process network information such as IP addresses and request metadata for delivery and security. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Local event log

The free site stores a bounded local log of event names and timestamps in browser localStorage. It excludes destination URLs, titles, emails and personal identifiers and is not sent to a central analytics service. Clear site data in your browser to delete it. The offline paid tool does not require an account or an analytics connection.

Payments when enabled

Checkout is not yet enabled. We are integrating Paddle to process payments. When enabled, Paddle processes checkout and billing information under its privacy policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy. We receive the transaction status and identifiers needed for delivery and support; we do not receive your full card number. The order token on your device allows access to your purchase and should be kept private.

Support and records

If you email us, we receive your email address and message. We use them to respond and resolve your request. Transaction and support records may be kept as required for accounting, fraud prevention, refunds and applicable legal obligations; we do not sell your personal information. We use service providers only for operating the service.

Your choices

You can use the free tool without an account. You can clear local browser data and contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to required record retention. Do not include sensitive personal data in support messages unnecessarily.

Updates

This notice is dated November 6, 2026. If we add central analytics, advertising or other data processing, we will update this notice and implement applicable consent controls before enabling it.

Payment test session

When you explicitly open the sandbox test checkout, Paddle processes test checkout data. We store an order ID and a private download token in this tab’s session storage to restore its test download access. The server retains order status, transaction identifiers and verified payment/refund event identifiers; it does not store card details. Keep the tab open until you save the download. Closing it may remove automated access; contact support with a receipt for assistance.
